There are few things I love more than a deep clean of our home and getting rid of clutter. After all, our environment seriously has an affect on our mindsets! SPRING HOME REFRESH
HOME Organization
Storage baskets & bins are a lifesaver when you’re trying to clear the clutter in your home (which is essential for a spring home refresh). They even come in handy for optimizing closet or pantry space! A few of my favorites are from Amazon and Target. I usually go for rattan as you can see above because it’s neutral and a more decorative way to store extra items that are taking up space.
Bonus organization tip: if you haven’t heard of the Magic Light Bulb – this is going to blow your mind. It’s an LED bulb with a remote and rechargeable built-in battery! I replaced the bulb in our entryway lamp with it and literally cut the cord!! It makes the space look much more organized and the cords are no longer an eye sore.
Spring Cleaning
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love my vacuums (yes, plural!!) I have 4 recommendations for you to check out below. We own and love all of these! It’s the perfect time to grab one for a thorough spring cleaning – and these will last you for years to come!!
eufy RoboVac – we absolutely love our eufy! It connects to Wi-Fi and returns to its base to recharge. Great for carpets, wood floors, and under furniture!
Bissell Carpet Cleaner – we have this Bissell little green machine to clean any carpet or rug stains! It has seriously saved us from so many really bad stains! It’s an Amazon home find.
Dyson – I seriously think everyone needs a Dyson! The V10 is the absolute best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It’s one of the more pricey brands but worth every penny IMO (you really get what you pay for!!)
eufy Handheld Vacuum – this small handheld vacuum used along with this Gap Cleaning Brush are perfect to get in the crevices of your home! These two tools helped me so much. See my before & after here!
SIMPLE Decor REFRESH
If you want a spring home refresh without redoing everything – why not add in some fresh new decor?! We recently updated our living room with simple pieces that would look great in any space. There are many ways you can do this – for example, coffee table books! I love to have chic books on our table as both decor and entertainment for when we have guests. Another simple way to do a spring home refresh is to add faux greenery! We have this under $100 Artificial Eucalyptus Tree in our entryway and I’ve found this really brings life to the space.
