Faux fur vests are a cold weather staple. They’re cozy, comfy, and cute. Not to mention, they keep me so warm when it’s cold outside! I throw on a faux fur vest when I can’t decide on my outfit. They totally jazz up my look.

I wore this outfit last week when I was shopping at Tempe Marketplace for holiday gifts. For Arizona, it was quite chilly out and the fur vest kept me super warm. It is so comfortable, and I receive so many compliments any time I dress up my outfit with a faux fur vest (I’m a HUGE animal lover, so you’ll never catch me buying real fur… it’s just not my thing).

I wanted to share this super cute, easy to wear look that you can replicate with almost any top or dress. It’s easy to dress them up or down. Throw on some boyfriend jeans for a casual look (or skinny jeans as seen in my photos), or a dress and heels with your faux fur vest! The outfits you can create with a faux fur vest is endless.

The fabulous thing about faux fur vests, is they can easily be worn over most outfits. It’s a great layering piece! When I lived in Manhattan, I would layer my look with my faux fur vest and just throw my winter coat over it during my commute. Outfit your skirts, dresses, and denim with a fur vest.
