Hi Everyone!
Happy Thursday! Hard to believe how fast September came and went, but I’m so excited because it finally feels like fall. We’ve been anxiously awaiting lower than 100 degree temps in Scottsdale (sounds rough, I know) and it’s here! I no longer have to sweat like crazy trying to take pics for this! 🙂
Anyways, with that said, I wanted to do a post about neutrals. Somehow that turned into Pinks, but to be totally honest, neutral means something different to everyone! A neutral to me is a shade of pink, brown, beige or gold. I was excited to share this look, and hope you get some inspo from this look!
I actually go this skirt during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it was a last minute buy. One came back in my size and I swooped it up, and never looked back! Honestly, it’s the most comfortable skirt I’ve ever owned. I’m often uncomfortable in skirts, but this one is incredible. Suede is also such a fall and winter staple. I can definitely see wearing this with a chunky sweater and OTK boots when it cools off a bit more.
I also got my Tory Burch bag during the sale. There was legitimately one left. I watched another shopper put it down and I went running! Honestly, I’d buy it full price. Tory Burch is such a great brand, I knew it would be worth the splurge. It’s still available HERE and I highly recommend having a neutral color (whether it’s pink, tan or grey), because they go with every outfit. For bags, I’m all about having a few good ones that last me a lifetime!
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my stories where I asked what you like to spend and save on. 98% of you said save on clothes and 96% of you said splurge on handbags. That was eye opening to me, but also affirmed that ‘m not the only one! New clothes are something I always want, so spending less than $100 per piece is typically what I tend to lean towards. The only exception is coats and jackets or jeans. Everything else, under $100 please!
My top is from BB Dakota, and I wish you could jump through the computer screen and feel how incredibly soft and breathable this top is! I can totally see dressing this top up with black skinny jeans (like these) or black flares (like these) for a holiday gathering. Or dress it down with ripped jeans and call it a day! This top is my new fave.
Last but not least, my Steve Madden booties are on sale for $99! They are ALMOST sold out, so if you like them, grab them quick. I got them during the Nordstrom sale for $89 and am thrilled I picked them up! They’re super comfortable, true to size, and my brand new neutral. Again for those of you who aren’t into blush tones, they come in black too (HERE).
I hope you enjoyed this look! Love to hear what you consider a “neutral”.
Have a fabulous week everyone!
