Hi loves! As most of you know, I lead a pretty healthy lifestyle. I work a full time job in conjunction with blogging. This means less time for heading to the gym and getting outdoors, so it’s been imperative for me to track my activity throughout the day.
I’ve used fitness trackers for years, which has helped me accomplish my goals. It’s so rewarding when I meet my daily goals, and I get excited to see the progress.
I’m thrilled to share that I teamed up with Garmin and have been wearing their Vivomove HR smartwatch for the past few weeks. Being that I’ve used multiple fitness trackers, I was excited to try Garmin’s Vivamove HR, because it seemed new and different. Plus, Garmin is known for their incredible products.
First Impressions
When I opened the box, I was so impressed with the looks of the watch. It looks like a traditional time piece, which is unlike any fitness tracker I’ve owned before. It comes in 10 color combinations, with four new this season. I was immediately attracted to the Onyx Black & Tan Suede. It felt very timeless to me, and goes with every outfit. Close second was the Rose Gold and Gray.
In addition, it comes with a rubber watch band, so I can switch out the look of the watch.
Set Up
Let’s start by putting it out there… I am NOT tech savvy. I try, but I’m not the best at technology or configuration. The best news for me, is the set up was insanely easy. All I had to do was download the app and follow the steps for set up!
One thing I noticed, there is no dial to set the watch time. It’s automatic, which totally blew my mind! I never have to worry my watch battery dies either, because all I had to do was plug it in and let it charge. The watch re-sets the time itself! So easy.
Speaking of battery life, I wore the watch without charging it for 5 days. My other fitness trackers die within 24 hours or less, no matter what. Very impressed with this feature!
Additional Features
This smartwatch actually tracks way more than I never could have imagined! A few examples, it has a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and relaxation timer to help manage stress. Truth be told, I get stressed easily, so this feature is one of the most interesting to me.
Not to mention I receive all my calls, texts, emails and calendar reminders right to my watch. It also counts steps, calories, distance, intensity minutes and VO2 max.
Final Thoughts
After several weeks of wearing the new Garmin Vivomove HR, I’m finding myself leaving my other fitness trackers behind. It’s next level in terms of features and aesthetics. It’s easy to use, and if I can learn quickly, so can everyone else! I highly recommend the Vivomove HR for anyone looking to track their daily activity or someone whose in the market for a smartwatch.
xoxo, Melissa
