Beauty Tutorial!
More full lips have been in lately, and the idea of getting my lips injected absolutely terrifies me! Nothing against those who do it, but for me, I’m just not into the needles. However, when it comes to my beauty routine, I love making my lips appear naturally bigger.
After years of perfecting this look, I finally nailed down exactly how to make your lips appear bigger! The trick is using natural shades, lining and blending properly.

Step 1
- Start off with by exfoliating lips
- I use the Mary Kay Satin Lip Shea Sugar Scrub (HERE)
- getting off the dead skin makes for a blank and beautiful canvas

Step 2
- Using a nude lip liner
- I used Kylie Cosmetics Exposed (similar HERE)
- Start lining the bottom middle lip
- Line just below the lip line (slightly over lining)
- At the corner of your mouth, line both the top and bottom of your lips about half way
- Do not over line the edges in this step!
- At the top of the cupids bow, over line slightly above the lip line
- Connect the top and bottom to the outer rims of your lips
Step 3
- Using MAC’s Myth Satin Lipstick dab the product on your upper and lower lips (but don’t smear it completely)
- this helps enhance the larger look of your lips by gently layering the product
Step 4
- Using MAC’s Japanese Maple Lipstick (HERE), coat your lips completely
Step 5
- Blot the product with your fingertip
- this blends the liner with the lip colors well and creates a more natural look, while making your lips appear bigger
