Shop Rolling Rack
Hi Loves! Recently I was lucky enough to discover the most innovative store I’ve ever heard, called Rolling Rack. In short, Rolling Rack is a mobile store, that travels all over the USA selling trendy and staple pieces alike.
I scored two insanely cute jumpsuits from Rolling Rack and have been tracking their every move since arriving in Arizona!
Rather than me babbling on and on about how much I love Rolling Rack, I wanted to share Susie’s (the founder) story on how she got started! She’s honestly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, as well as a total #bossbabe with an eye for serious fashion! Go give her a follow on Instagram HERE.
Any questions on sizing, feel free to send me a message by posting below or via Instagram DMs.
“Rolling Rack launched at the end of April this year. I went to FIDM in LA after graduating high school and managed a couple of popular boutiques in LA and styled lots of fun people (I was the go to stylist for everyone growing up)..My dreams were to always both curate and design fashion. Life happened, and I moved back to AZ and didn’t pursue fashion beyond school ended up with a very good career in banking. I was never really fulfilled, and if this blogger Influencer stuff was around then I would have been so all over it as a side gig! My Dad, who was my best friend, avid supporter, all around best Dad in the world, got diagnosed with brain cancer and died ten months later. He made me promise him I would lead a very fulfilled life and stop just accepting things as they were. Shortly after he died, I turned 40, and walked into my corporate VP’s office at Wells Fargo and just said, I can’t do this anymore. I quit that day. I took six months off and traveled, and that is when Rolling Rack was born.
I knew fashion was different now, and brick and mortar was suffering, and I saw a very small fashion truck at the beach in So Cal. I thought..I want next level. I want a true boutique on wheels. I want BIG. I want to curate trends, but different fabrics of those trends. Bold, fun, colorful..So with an amazing husband, he built my dream. It’s a UHaul at 34 feet, fully restored. Wood floors, faux fur ceilings, chandeliers, wrapped in chrome rose gold, fully air conditioned, fitting room, and of course a Selfie Station with the perfect Selfie lighting with the Socialite Standing Ring. It’s amazing…it’s my dream.
I’ve been very blessed with people I know and connections and the fact that my concept is truly different then the rest. We have a patio with red carpet, French doors, and a beautiful seating area with a Swingason Chair out front like a mini little rest area to welcome. We got nicknamed Beverly Hills on Wheels, and we truly are. Moderately priced, we are not fast fashion. This is quality fashion that will last. I try to do 10-20% off sales as much as I can or giveaways. With online orders, I include a handwritten note with every order and no matter how large we get I always will with a coupon for next purchase.
Since I’m not open daily I do need online to do well. I have new arrivals weekly. We have shoots every few weeks and we shoot with Ford, Local news anchors, different reality stars. Scheana Shay on Vanderpump is a good friend of mine and I styled her for different Vanderpump promos including a girls trip recently and have had little features in that circle, which has been amazing. Fox 10 and Channel 3 also have do e segments on us and Your Life Channel 3 has asked us back to do some different what’s in the truck segments…the reason I feel I’m getting a lot of attention is because I did create something that is very different then what’s out there. I’m bigger and gunner. I curate good fashion, that I feel isn’t already saturated in our market. I try to stay with Made in America, or designed in America, as much as I can. I travel each month to actually see, feel, touch and find my designers. We have a private label development with my own designs in progress.”
You can find Rolling Rack around the west coast (primarily AZ and CA), but for all of my AZ babes here’s a few places you can find them:
First Fridays at DeSoto Market monthly
SanTan mall on August 4th (all day)
ASU – Move In Weekend the Graduate Tempe Aug 11th f
Every Friday night I have a spot in Downtown Gilbert next to Creamistry from 7-1030
She also frequents other places (like Kierland Commons), so you can find the location on their website HERE. You absolutely need to go experience Rolling Rack if you can! If not, go shop their website and you can ask me any questions about sizing, I’m happy to help.
