Let’s talk denim! Jeans are one of the hardest clothing items to shop for, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned in the 10 years that I worked in denim retail stores, it’s that NO ONE enjoys denim shopping. However, with those years of experience, I’ve learned what to look for when shopping for jeans. Today I’m sharing spring denim trends to jump on now, plus how to style the jeans and what’s worth the splurge! I’ll also give you some tips on how to pick your right size.
Denim Trends
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, every denim trend comes back! Flare jeans, skinny jeans, and boyfriend jeans have all had their time in and out, and they always make their way back in style. Personally, I’ve always diversified my denim and made them all timeless jeans! Truly it’s how you style them. So I say, wear what you’re comfortable in.
Recommended Denim Brands
I find some of my favorite jeans from Revolve! My go-to brands from Revolve are Agolde and Grlfrnd. I’ve had several pair of jeans from them that have lasted for YEARS (literally worn on repeat and washed a ton, and they’re still good as new). Having worked in the premium denim industry, quality of denim is extremely important in getting a good fit. I prefer jeans with less elastic, and find that 100% cotton lasts the longest. Loose Fitting Boyfriend Jeans
I’m a HUGE sucker for ripped boyfriend jeans! I have tried so many pair, and the 90s Mid Rise Loose Fit AGOLDE denim are by far my most worn. These are a high rise jean that runs big (purposefully). I love styling this pair of jeans with a more fitted top, but a tucked front sweater is super cute too. These are 100% cotton and made in the USA!
I sized down one and am 5’4″ for reference. I’ve been told if you’re curvy to stick with your true size. This is definitely a spring denim trend I would jump on!! Grab them HERE or click below to shop.
I loved them so much, I ordered a similar pair (denim seen below) in black! I would suggest sizing down in the black pair, as well. I did my true size and they’re on the big side. I still love the boyfriend look, so I stuck with it!

High Rise Boot Slit Jeans
The high rise boot slit jeans are hugely popular right now! I love the slit bottom denim trend, and I highly suggest grabbing a pair of these for Spring. These are 100% cotton and made in the USA (which I personally love!). Style them with a tucked front top for a super flattering look!
