Let me start by saying, I’m a HUGE fan of lululemon. The fit and feel of their leggings is virtually parallel to none, until now! Instagram has proven time-and-time again to be the best community. A few months ago, of my incredible followers sent me a recommendation for the Hawthorne under $30 leggings on Amazon. I ended up ordering one pair, and upon arrival I was blown away! These leggings were almost identical in feel the lululemon Align leggings (which are my favorite). I immediately went an ordered 4 more pair, and a few weeks later ordered another 2 pair of these leggings. Today I’m sharing the under $30 leggings that feel like lululemon Align!
The Leggings
The Hawthorn Athletic Leggings are available at Amazon (click HERE for details), in three different lengths. I own the 28″ and 25″ without pockets. I have the 25″ with pockets in my cart! The pockets are great for workouts. You can toss a key or your phone in them while you’re out. I own 6 different pair, 2 are black, I also have Olive, Maroon, Periwinkle, and Tan. Every time I open my leggings drawer, these Amazon leggings are all I want to wear! The material feels buttery soft, but it’s thick and 100% squat proof. It also has a moderate amount of compression, just like the lululemon Align leggings. I feel supported, without feeling constrained. Not to mention, they stretch as I move. They’re a high rise with a seamless waistband. The leggings stay in place and don’t slide at all! Here are the 3 styles available in the leggings:
Hawthorn Athletic Women’s Essential High Waisted Yoga Leggings 7/8 with Side Pockets 25”
This is one of the smartest pair of leggings that Hawthorn has produced! I highly recommend grabbing leggings with a pocket, because you can toss your phone or a key in them while you’re at the gym, running errands, or working out. This exact style legging is currently available in 3 colors. I have the olive in my cart!
The 28″ full length leggings are currently available in 14 colors and prints! I love the neutral colors they have, because they can easily be worn with everything. I often wear my black leggings with a casual top and style them with ankle booties or sneakers while I head out to run errands! These leggings also make for great travel pants. They’re insanely comfortable and easy to wear. I work out in them a ton, so having two pair of black leggings was vital! This style is personally my favorite. I love a full length legging, so if you’re unsure which style to grab first, I say get the 28″ compression yoga pants!

If you’re petite or like me and like an ankle length legging, grab the 25″ high rise pair! These exact leggings are the 7/8 (or 25″) and are also available in 14 colors and prints. I have a few of these, and love them! They’re great for everyday, working out, travel, you name it!
Sizing & Fit
I’m regularly a 2 in lululemon Align leggings and a 4 in all of their other products. I’m 5’4″ and wear a size 24 or 25 jeans, and have fairly narrow hips. The size XS fits me perfectly! The higher rise is very complementing, as well. You can wear a cropped tank top or a regular workout top with them, and they look great.
Price
The leggings are between $27 and $29 depending on the style and color. you cannot beat the price for the product! I can’t recommend these enough.
