Top 5: Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss

I’m SO excited about the new Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss collection! I was lucky enough to score the entire lot of 20 and of course, dove head first into trying ALL of them. I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts!

The things I look for in lip gloss are:

This collection is truly ultra-shiny and soft, and lasts pretty well considering it’s a gloss. It’s also not sticky or tacky, whatsoever (score!).

Honestly, there’s so many incredible colors out of the 20. Some are more pigmented than others, but for gloss they are insanely shiny! I wanted to share my top 5 picks from this collection.

Let’s be honest, picking my top 5 was absolutely brutal! My lippie collection is an ever growing part of my vanity and I never want to stop collecting. For real though, it’s a collection.

If you haven’t used Urban Decay Cosmetics, I have to say this has been one of my go to favorite brands since I can remember. When the Naked collection came out, I legit bought that palette as fast as possible. There’s no exceptions when it comes to UD…. I almost always “have to have it”.

 

In terms of top lippie colors, if you’ve followed me for a while you know my favorites are always the perfect nude. With that said, I tried these colors bare over my lips and with lipstick and liner. If you’re going to have to decide which one to try, go for one of these five! They’re my absolute faves.

To note, none of the “selfie” photos have liner or lipstick colors under them. I wanted to represent the true color of the glosses, to give you a real picture of the colors.

1. Goldmine

I know, this is such a random color to be my favorite, but who doesn’t love gold?? I actually fell in love with this color immediately! Throw this on over a pink or a nude lipstick, and it transforms your look.

This is my perfect everyday nude gloss! This goes with literally every single outfit, and I’ve used it daily since I got this collection. It’s the best! If you have to pick one color, go with this one. It’s so versatile!

3. Snitch

This color is so out of the box for me. I’m absolutely NOT a red girl, but this red is so spring and wasn’t too vibrant. I thought it would be perfect over a nude lip!

 Isn’t this color just gorgeous!? I absolutely love that it has a hint of pink and sparkle. It’s hard to see how sparkly this actually is, but it shimmers in the light and obviously I love that!

I can’t with this holographic pink!! I want to swim in this color… but really, I’m such a pink girl, I totally gravitated to this color. It’s so fun and I would definitely throw this on everyday.
