Hi friends, Happy Sunday! Lately I’ve been wearing a ton of loungewear. Despite working from home regularly, I’ve been less motivated to throw on jeans since I hardly leave the house. Loungewear has been a comfortable staple, but sometimes I want to switch it up. I’ve noticed the biker shorts trend and had to jump on it! I’ve been wearing them more lately, and they’re a great loungewear staple. Biker shorts are trending big time right now! Today I’m sharing what to wear with biker shorts.

What To Wear With Biker Shorts
At first, biker shorts reminded me of my childhood gymnastics days! I was pretty “anti” the trend, but once I started seeing EVERYONE rock the cutest biker short styles, I had to invest. I ordered a basic black pair of high rise biker shorts, and started styling! Once I figured out exactly what to wear with biker shorts, I felt chic and trendy, but comfortable at the same time.

How to Style Biker Shorts
Styling biker shorts is actually quite easy. First, I recommend investing in a pair of black biker shorts (these are only $15!). They’ll become a closet staple in no time! If you want to splurge a little, these Alo Yoga shorts get incredible reviews and they’re still under $60.
Whether you’re styling biker shorts as cycling shorts, throwing them on with heeled sandals, or dressing them up with a leather jacket, there’s simple ways to outfit them and look stylish, while being comfortable!

What to Wear With Biker Shorts
Now that I’ve mentioned how versatile biker shorts can be, wearing biker shorts should be simple!
Other clothing items that look great with biker shorts are:
- A crop top with an oversized blazer and heeled sandals and layered jewelry
- Black bike shorts look great for date night with a white tank top and a leather jacket
- Pair black bike shorts with a belt at the waist! I actually saw Kim Kardashian do this, and was blown away by how cute it was. Thanks Kim for continuing to be a trend setter (LOL).
- Create a more street style look with a graphic t-shirt, white sneakers, and a baseball cap.
Try one of these trends. I promise you can be a “fashion girl” wearing biker shorts, too (especially if I can)!
Biker Short Outfit Ideas
Check out some of my outfit ideas wearing biker shorts below! Keep in mind you can easily switch out the black biker shorts for a pair of white biker shorts or even printed ones!
Casual
This was the first outfit I put together with my black high rise biker shorts! The white tank is actually a ribbed bodysuit, and I threw it on with my favorite distressed denim jacket. I also styled it with two gold necklaces for a layered look, and some cute sunglasses. If you scroll to the first picture in this post, you can see I’m wearing white heeled sandals. I would wear this outfit to lunch with friends, shopping, and running errands. It’s so stylish and comfortable!
Street Style
For a more street style look, wear a pair of black high rise biker shorts with either an oversized tie dye or graphic t-shirt, and white sneakers. This is one of my favorite looks! I wore my hair in a low slick bun for a more polished look.
Events
As I said above, an oversized blazer and cropped white t-shirt are a fantastic combo! This outfit is great for events or date night. I would wear this to blogger events, since it’s fun and stylish!
Everyday
Another super cute and easy outfit to style for everyday life. Wear this to hang out with friends, go to a casual dinner or run errands. In addition, consider swapping out the tie dye top for a graphic t-shirt!
Work From Home
This has been my go-to work from home outfit! Tie-dye is a hot trend right now, and the cropped sweater paired with my biker shorts was a cute casual look.
No-Brainer Style
Obviously I’m a casual girl, so more casual styles was a no brainer. I saw this neon t-shirt, and it matched my tie dye Golden Goose sneakers. So I paired those together with my black high rise biker shorts. I knotted the tee to add style.
I would swap out my black biker shorts for a pair of white ones with this look! Wear it working from home, hanging out with friends, to appointments, or running errands!
Black on Black
My favorite look… black on black! This cropped black t-shirt comes in a handful of colors and is only $5! Tossed it on as a super casual look with my white sneakers. You can easily switch out the sneakers for a pair of heeled sandals and add an oversized blazer for a more dressed up look! I love outfits that can easily be transformed from daytime to night time.
