31 Fun Facts about Me on my 31st Birthday!!

 

Hey guys! It’s my 31st birthday so I thought it would be fun to share some personal facts about me… and stick with the number 31. Hope you enjoy!! <3

1. I’m a Gemini
2. I have a twin sister
3. We also have a 25 year old brother (who looks older than both of us and is about a foot taller than me)
4. My favorite color is pink
5. Every morning I eat oatmeal with fruit (usually a banana) for breakfast
6. I never miss my morning coffee!!
7. I’m more of a morning person than a night owl
8. I was a pre dental student at the University of Arizona (bear down!!)
9. I completed my MBA in 2012, while working full time and living in NYC
10. Both of our dogs are rescues, and we had no intention of getting a dog when we adopted either of them. Biggest blessing ever!
11. My guilty pleasure is watching murder mysteries and crime TV on Netflix or 20/20! Ok, fine, and 60 minutes and HBO Go! 🙂
12. My go to outfit is always jeans and a Madewell Tee
13. I started wearing makeup as soon as I was allowed to! My sister was never into it, so I remember she got a full makeover and makeup in high school. I was so jealous!
14. The first time I had my makeup professionally done was for my wedding
15. My husband and I have been together for upwards of 11 years, and we’ve known each other since we were 15!
16. My now husband and I lived in NYC for 4 years, before relocating to AZ
17. My favorite thing about NYC is the city itself
    1. The food, the energy, the people, I seriously can’t get enough
18. Cold weather is not for me, unless I’m skiing
19. Skiing is probably the only sport I’m good at!
20. Spinning is one of my favorite workouts, and I honestly never get sick of it!
21. My shoe size is a 6.5
22. I’m only 5’3.5”
23. I’ve done 3 hike marathons, and every time I say it’s my last, I end up signing up for another one
24. Target is my absolute kryptonite!! I spend at least $100 every time I walk in there
25. My nick name has always been Meliss. There’s a select few people in my lives that call me Mel, but for the most part I hate it. 🙂
26. My favorite place to travel is the Caribbean!
    1. We went to Aruba on our honeymoon and I am already dying to go back. Posting an Aruba guide within the next few weeks!
27. Chocolate is just not for me….put chocolate cake in front of me and I probably won’t eat it. Candy is a whole other ball game!
28. My absolute favorite candy is Good and Plenty
29. When I travel I always need to have Welches gummies… no rhyme or reason but I love it!!
30. I’ve never been to Europe, but it’s high on my list!
