Happy Friday loves! This has been the week of Gift Guides (and if you missed them, full holiday round up HERE) and I’m taking a quick break to share my try on session at Abercrombie this week. Abercrombie is also running a huge sale, and I’m sharing my top picks to help you navigate best buys this week.
First of all, if you would have told me last year that A&F would become one of my go-to stores, I would have laughed at you! Abercrombie has come a LONG way since the early 2000’s. I’m incredibly impressed with the quality of products they’re creating. Second, they have bomb sales! I mean seriously bomb. I’ve been getting jeans for under $40 and winter coats for under $100. This is unheard of for quality denim!
If you haven’t shopped at Abercrombie & Fitch, my hope is to reintroduce you to the brand and share some of the items I’m eyeing for holiday.
To note, this is not outfit a sponsored post. I genuinely love the brand (and I only ever share brands I love) and know you will, too (if you don’t already!).
I went to the newly remodeled Abercrombie store this week and tried on a few looks that were a huge hit on my LikeToKnow.it. Abercrombie is currently running up to 60% off on sale items, and my high waist favorite jeans are 50% off (just $39).
A little background, I worked in the premium denim industry for about eight years. Needless to say I became somewhat of a “denim snob”. I’m very picky with jeans, and if they don’t fit perfectly, I won’t buy them.
My girlfriend Makenna had been raving about her Abercrombie & Fitch jeans. Full transparency, I was a huge skeptic. However, after one try on I was hooked. There is no need to spend $150+ on a single pair of well fitting jeans ever again. A&F’s are always under $70, and right now my faves are under $40.
When I buy jeans, I look for a few things:
- Denim – has to be well made material that is stretchy but will not stretch out (it’s not cute to have diaper butt)
- Fit – jeans must hug my body perfectly
- No alterations – I’m way too lazy to get my jeans hemmed, they need to fit in length, as well as fit
- A&F jeans come in three lengths: long, regular, & short (I buy regular, I’m just under 5″4′ but have about a 30″ inseam)

Anyways, onto the try on session!
Tank // Cardigan // Jeans // Shoes // iPhone XS Case
I’m all about layering! I saw this cozy cardigan and loved the neutral colors. It’s extremely soft and matches everything in my closet. I’m also always freezing in my office, so it’s a great layering piece that fits into my tote. The cami is a great staple, comes in several colors and prints.
These are my new fave high waist jeans! They’re on sale for just $39. I originally went in for simple black skinny jeans, but when I tried these on I had to have them! I also knew the fringe would easily be hidden in a boot if I wanted them to look dressier. Easy and comfy.
