Hi friends! I’m so excited to be back home and share a full roundup on my weekend trip to Los Angeles. Makenna and I go to LA several times annually for both work and play. Today I’m sharing a full LA trip roundup, including where we stayed, restaurants we dined at, the car we drove, outfits, and recommendations for a weekend itinerary!

Our Itinerary
Where We Stayed
The last two times we’ve been to LA, we’ve stayed in the Valley (details HERE). This time we wanted to be closer to where our meetings are (West Hollywood & Beverly Hills), so we stayed at The W Hotel in West Beverly Hills.
The W has a few locations in Los Angeles, but we wanted to be in Beverly Hills, so this location was perfect. We booked the Zodiac package, which was SO cool!
The Zodiac Package Details
Zodiac Guide to L.A. Guests will receive a curated travel guide to Los Angeles’ hot spots based on their zodiac sign. Makenna is a Taurus and I’m a Gemini. It was spot on for where we should go! We kept ur recommendations, so that when we go back we can hit up all of the spots (since time was fairly limited).
Additional inclusions in the Zodiac Guide:
- Slip Sleepmask (customized to your zodiac sign)
- EMERALD Deep Moisture Glow Oil
- 2 SIP tickets (to be redeemed at Living Room Bar)
I highly recommend the Zodiac package! You get such fun goodies when you check in (details below), plus itinerary help and activity recommendations.
Hotel Photos & Details
Aside from the awesome welcome Zodiac package, we got upgraded into the penthouse suite, which was phenomenal! If you follow me on Instagram (which you should!), we were shocked when we checked in and walked into out suite. The room was super clean, insanely spacious, and had beautiful views of the city! It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Makenna and I thought it would be the perfect space for a bachelorette party, too!
Here’s a personal overall rating of the hotel on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best):
Staff – 10 – legitimately couldn’t have been nicer! Everyone was warm, welcoming, and friendly.
Check in/ Check Out Process – 10 – the check in process took all of 3 minutes and checking out at 5am was a breeze!
Parking – 7 – we used the hotel valet service. It was extremely easy, but it is expensive! I didn’t spot self parking, so you’re basically at the hotel mercy. I’m giving this a 7, because I personally prefer self parking and hate to pay overnight valet fees, BUT the valet is extremely friendly and fast.
In Room Dining – 9 – we ordered breakfast and coffee every day to the room! There’s nothing I need more than a strong hot cup of coffee in the morning. The first day we had a menu to place our order on the door. It’s literally my favorite thing to do at a hotel! The breakfast and coffee were really good! I’m rating it a 9, because we didn’t get a fresh menu day 2. I realize that’s being knit picky, so consider this basically a 10. 🙂
Room – 9 – this was the largest suite I’ve ever stayed in! It was super clean (most importantly) and mostly updated. The point lost is from the large bathtub not drain working (YES I tried to take a bath!!).
Pool – 10 – I LOVED the pool! It was well kept, clean, tons of chairs, and lavish cabanas with flatscreen TVs. I could have stayed at our cabana all weekend and never left the hotel!
STK Restaurant – 9 – My favorite part of the restaurant was the bar! There was always a place to sit, the bartenders were awesome, and the drinks were bomb. We ate dinner too, and it was phenomenal! Worth the money (the steak was juicy and cooked perfectly). I’m going 9, because the service was awesome, but they brought us other tables’ food twice (whops!).
Our Ride
Makenna and I were fortunate enough to partner with Lexus USA on our trip to LA! Lexus hooked us up with a brand new GS 350 F Sport. I am obsessed with red cars, so when I saw this baby, I couldn’t wait to drive her! The ride was smooth, sporty, and above all I felt very safe! I hope one day I can have a Lexus of my own. Until then, I’m extremely appreciative and thankful we got to drive Lexie around LA all weekend!
