I want to begin by sharing a little story, and diving into how I found the most amazing luxury bag I’ve ever been lucky enough to own!
When I lived in New York I worked for a start up, and my clients were mostly large corporations like Michael Kors, Estee Lauder, and L’Oreal. Some of my clients were amazing small business owners, and one of them was Stephanie who owns a very successful jewelry company called Love Always and her amazing luxury handbag resale company Andreus Luxury Closet.
Stephanie and I instantly hit it off, and started following each other on social media. She came to visit my office (she’s from Florida) when she was visit Manhattan, and there was such a bond! I just love her (AND she’s a total boss babe!).
I always watch her stories, because the bags she gets are in amazing shape (she has a good eye), discounted, and they sell in lightning speed.
To preface, I love investment bags. I have two really nice bags, that have lasted me for over a decade. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny because they carry you through years and years of wear. My Louis Vuitton Neverfull was $700 in 2009 when I bought it. I have used it for almost 10 years, and it’s still in great shape. Not to mention, the price is more than double now. I’d say it was a sound investment!
Stephanie does a great job posting her handbags in her Instagram Stories. I always love seeing what she has in stock. I was watching her IG stories and spotted the exact bag I have been eyeing for over 2 years. It’s called the Palace and it was actually made initially just for Louis Vuitton employees. It ended up being produced in several colors. I knew I wanted the black and canvas, because it matches everything.
The second I saw Stephanie’s stories that a brand new Louis Vuitton Palace Bag was available, I knew I had have it! I DMed her and it was mine within an hour. I was so excited!
Stephanie was gracious enough to hold on shipping until I was home from our honeymoon.
The bag arrived within a week of me getting home (she sent it certified via FedEx), and it was flawless! The bag was exactly as described, brand new, in the duster bag, with the proof of purchase and LV booklet. Not one spec of anything was damaged or missing, it was just flawless. AND I got the bag I was lusting over for a discounted price, because she is a reseller!
