Wild Horse Pass Girls Weekend!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Mine was too fun! I spent it at Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino with Makenna and one of my girlfriends, Lauren. Makenna’s amazing mom also came with, since she was visiting from Seattle. The four of us had so much fun, so I’m giving you a round up of our stay!

Lauren and I checked in at about 4:30pm. We drove up and to my surprise, valet was complementary. I was JUST in Vegas last weekend, and valet for one night was $25, so the was a treat! The bellman immediately took our bags and waited for us to check in to bring up our things.
The second we walked in, our hosts were graciously waiting and gave us a quick brief on our hosted weekend. How nice is that! I was honestly so surprised, and felt extremely welcomed.
From there, I went over to the check in desk, and was checked into our room within a matter of minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an easy process getting our keys and getting into our room.
The Room
They hooked us up with VIP rooms on the top floor! One thing that really stood out to me, is there was NO smell of smoke. Most resorts with casinos have an insane smoke odor (every single Vegas hotel has one, and I challenge someone to find me one that doesn’t). As a non-smoker, this often deeply impacts me and causes headaches. I was thrilled that there was no scent of smoke from the lobby to the hotel rooms. Very well done Wild Horse Pass!
Anyways, the rooms were beautiful! They were modern and extremely clean. There’s nothing better than walking into a hotel room and feeling like the entire thing was just cleaned top to bottom. We had a view of the city, which was really nice.
Another bonus was Makenna’s room was conjoining, so it was super fun for us to all have the time together!
Once we checked in, we got ready, walked around, had a drink and then went to dinner.
Dinner at Shula’s

I had heard great things about Shula’s Steakhouse, but never made it there. Things will be changing after this weekend!
Originally there was a reservation for 2 for myself and Lauren, and another for Makenna and her mom. We actually didn’t even think to call (our fault!), but the hostess was so sweet, and found a way to easily accommodate us within 5 minutes. Super nice!
Once we sat down, we were instantly greeted by our wait staff. Two gentleman served us, and they were very efficient. They made great wine recommendations, side recommendations, and quantity recommendations (like sorry, I have no idea how many pounds of king crab legs to order!!). He recommended the perfect quantity.
We ended up sharing everything and had the 48 oz porterhouse (which was cooked to perfection), steak fries, brussel sprouts, king crab legs, and mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly, we didn’t sit around waiting at all, and the bill for all of that plus a bottle of wine was only $227! I seriously couldn’t believe how affordable our meal was for four people at a nice steakhouse.
I immediately called my husband letting him know we’re going back!
The Show
Ok guys…. I’m not going to lie, the past two weeks have been full of fun entertainment! We were invited to see the Chippendales show at the Hotel Theater, and it was great! I’ll be cautious and say if you’re easily offended by good looking men dancing with little clothes on, this is probably not the show for you. However, if you’re up for a good time and a lot of laughs (and not easily offended), this was SO fun. The girls and I really enjoyed the show, and honestly just laughed the entire time!
Breakfast
We went down for breakfast at the Fullhouse cafe around 9am on Saturday, and had no wait. To be clear, the hotel was very busy! We were seated immediately and greeted by two waiters, who were super attentive and nice. We all ordered juice and water (we already had coffee from their Starbucks location on floor 2 in the hotel), and within 15 minutes our food was served. It was delicious!
Personally, there’s three things that make a hotel stay great:
-
Service
-
Cleanliness
-
Food
This hotel checked ALL of the boxes! Not to mention, there’s quite a bit to do around the hotel. Here’s a quick list:
-
Outlet Mall
-
Casino
-
Pool
-
Gym
-
AZ mills
-
Raw Hide
I hope you have the time to check out the Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino. We truly had such a fun time, and felt so relaxed afterward. I can’t wait to come back!
