Valentine’s day is officially less than one month away, can you believe it? It feels like yesterday that winter hit! Knowing how quickly time passes, I’m getting ready for Valentine’s Day early this year.
There’s several components that go into my Valentine’s Day look.
1. The Outfit – I’ve been sharing a handful of ideas on Instagram that are casual and dressy
2. Makeup – I tend to lean towards light neutral shades with pops of pink and red and a little extra highlighter
3. A New Perfume – there’s nothing better than having a fresh scent on Valentine’s Day
There’s something about having a special scent on Valentine’s Day. It makes me feel really good when my husband comments on how good I smell!
I’ve been searching for the perfect perfume for my first VDay as a wife (crazy to say it out loud!), and I was thrilled to find Tiffany & Co.’s new Sheer Eau De Toilette. I actually took the Fragrance quiz on Macys.com/fragrancedestination and this is the perfume that was recommended to me.
I have a very heightened sense of smell, and am extremely picky with perfume. I always look for perfumes that smell delicious and “delicate” (basically not overpowering). This one smells vibrant and a bit floral, with hints of black currant and noble iris. It’s best described as fresh and flirty, which is perfect for a romantic light out for Valentine’s Day.
The packaging is also nothing less than flawless! Tiffany put such a beautiful touch on this crystal perfume bottle. Super impressed, and it’s beautiful on my vanity!
