Wedding Weekend Outfit Round Up

Hi loves! I’m reminiscing my twin sister’s wedding weekend, as it was full of love and joy. It was breathtaking watching my twin sister walk down the isle and marry the man of her dreams. There are no words to describe the feeling of standing up next to the person you shared a womb with (but really!).

I wanted to do a quick recap of the outfits I wore during her wedding weekend! I actually got and insane amount of DMs on my rehearsal dinner outfit and the dress/makeup I wore during the wedding!

Rehearsal Dinner

For rehearsal dinner, I wore my BlankNYC suede skirt, ASTR velvet bodysuit and my Scoop NYC booties. I’ve had my booties for about 5 years, and I wear them every fall and winter. They were expensive, but worth every penny. Invest in good boots, they will last you! Here’s a few booties I’m loving this year:

I got my BlankNYC skirt during the Nordstrom sale, and it’s still available. It also comes in grey. I wear this skirt all the time! I love it with a chunky sweater (seen here), too.

ASTR is one of my favorite brands. Their clothes are trendy, affordable, and well made. I saw this bodysuit and fell in love! It’s velvet, and so soft.

The Wedding

My twin sister Jen and I got engaged just two short months apart, which was so exciting! She actually planned both of our weddings. Can you tell who the planner is? 🙂

All of the bridesmaids were thrilled when Jennifer told us her color palette! She wanted to stick with golds and neutrals. Both of us let our bridal party purchase dresses of their choice, and to be honest, everyone is happier that way. We coordinated our dresses to make sure they all looked good together, and it worked out perfectly!

My dress is Dress The Population, and they have it at Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.

The earrings and bracelet I wore are Kendra Scott. I actually bought the with the intention of wearing them to my wedding, but didn’t like how they looked with my gown. They wound up being perfect for this dress!

I wore my Tamara Mellon heels, and I wore them from 3pm to 10pm. After that (with little to no time to sit), they were tossed in a corner and I danced barefoot! I’m not going to lie, no shoe is comfortable after that many hours, so I’m thrilled they lasted that long! No blisters. I also wear these frequently for events. They’re the perfect nude heel!

Bridesmaids Dresses

I found three out of four dresses! The fourth was purchased over a year ago at Nordstrom Rack.

Makeup

Everyone had their hair done, but I did my own makeup using the below products (it lasted ALL day with no touch ups)

(I used the entire kit – the colors are perfect for my skin tone and setting the under eye with the yellow powder is vital)
