Hi friends!! With all of the extra time we’ve had at home these last few months, I’ve been using my kitchen appliances more than ever. I invested in a few new ones during quarantine that have been so fun, as well! It’s been fun experimenting with different recipes and appliances. I know you’re going to love them as much as I do, so today I’m sharing some of my favorite kitchen appliances with you (bonus: they’re all from Amazon!).
10 Must Have Kitchen Appliances
I’m breaking the kitchen appliances into two different categories: The Essentials and the Fun Additions.
The Essentials
These are the essential items that we use regularly! The only two I don’t own, that are currently in my card is the Air Fryer and the Instant Pot. Everything else has been an essential during quarantine and we’ve used them so much!
1. Nespresso Coffee Maker
There are endless options of Nespresso machines. I picked this one because of the larger water tank, sleek design, quick heat-up and auto shut-off features. My Nespresso is the most important part of my morning :).
2. Air Fryer
This air fryer stuck out to me because of the ability to separate the pot into two sides, this is a major benefit as you can cook two different things at once without combining them together.
Some of the things you can make in the air fryer are: sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, chicken tenders, burritos, brussel sprouts, etc. It is such a fun appliance to experiment with different recipes and different methods of cooking. I can’t wait to get mine!
3. Ninja Blender
I picked out this Ninja because of the high reviews and fair price. I like using my blender to make drinks (smoothies, milkshakes, margaritas) or use it to make homemade sauces and dips like salsa, hummus, Alfredo and salad dressings.
Although there are a ton of different blender options out there, I personally love that the Ninja is affordable and has everything I need. Also, you can buy smaller cups for individual drinks that are compatible with the same base which can be convenient depending on what you use your blender for.
4. Instant Pot
No surprise that this one made the list! It’s hard to beat one appliance that can be used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan and more. You can make anything from soup to yogurt to seared meats, shredded chicken, etc. It’s a staple appliance that makes cooking a breeze! The instant pot is also available in 3 sizes and is under $100!!
5. Panini Maker/Griddle
This is one of my favorites! We got this for a wedding gift, and it’s been phenomenal! This griddle comes with double-sided plates that allows you to use it as a panini press or a griddle. Having both options of the plates opens up a lot more options when it comes to cooking – which means you will get more use out of it. You also have the ability to purchase additional separate plates that fit in the same unit. I have the waffle plates, which I love!
6. Hand Mixer/Frother
The $34 hand mixer is my top pick! First it’s affordable, you just can’t beat the under $40 price tag. Second, this can be used as a blender or mixer because it comes with 3 different attachments.
It’s a blender, milk frother, and egg whisk all in one! You get multiple uses out of one tool, versus having to own 3 separate ones for three times the cost (or more!). You can do everything from beating eggs to making whipped cream to frothing milk for your coffee. I use mine to mix in my Modere Logiq creamer every single day!
Fun Kitchen Additions
Sometimes it’s all about fun kitchen appliances, vs the essentials. These are a few to check out that I consider “extras” but they are affordable and could make cooking a little bit easier. They also could be great activity to do with kids. Here are some of my favorites!
Home Pizza Maker
This is the coolest under $50 home appliance, I’ve ever seen!! We have a quesadilla maker, but I wish I saw this first. It this can also be used for quesadillas, tostadas, cookies, etc!
Breakfast Sandwich Maker
This is an easy one and done appliance (verses uses a toasted, 2 pans, etc..)! It’s only $19 and gets over 11,000 positive reviews on Amazon. I highly recommend it!
Indoor S’more Maker
This $17 s’more maker is the coolest indoor appliance I’ve ever seen! It’s affordable and such a fun dessert/activity! It’s also great for those without a gas stove top.
Triple Crockpot
Let me start by saying, I REALLY want this!! It’s the perfect addition to a buffet when hosting! I’m always super impressed when my friends have these.
