Hi Friends! As you have seen, I’ve been traveling at least three times a month and its not slowing down! If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s how to pack and what is necessary for a successful trip.
In today’s blog post, I’m sharing my 10 Travel Must Haves! I never travel without any of these, and hope it helps you prepare for your next trip.
Anyone whose ever traveled with me knows that I do not go anywhere without my white noise maker!
Rewind a few years, my husband and I were living in NYC and our bedroom was on the street side of a very busy street. We literally couldn’t sleep and needed a solution. My husband found this white noise maker on Amazon and it has been life changing! We bought two, because we cannot sleep without it. Nothing compares! Now I don’t worry when I travel that I won’t be able to sleep. You need this $45 gem in your life. I swear by it!
I’ve had this set for about 6 months and I travel everywhere with these! Initially I just got the small carry on size gold suitcase, but I realized that was silly, and I prefer to have a set so I got the large suitcase as well.
Don’t make the same mistake I made! I highly recommend at least getting the set of two (the set of 3 is available for only $100 more – and honestly, I regret not getting that set!). It comes in a handful of colors (also love the rose gold), but I have the gold set.
Pixi Beauty generously sent me this makeup bag and I’ve been using it for literally every trip! It has the perfect amount of space and compartments for my makeup when I travel. It retails for only $32, and is actually waterproof. Fits EVERYTHING! Love the floral print on the bag, as well.
This thing is a must for travel! No matter what, everything I pack wrinkles, and I burn my clothes with the irons hotels leave in their rooms. This is a small steamer that easily fits in my suitcase and is super powerful and quick. I’ve actually replaced my large steamer with this one, because it’s so easy to use.
Picked up this backpack before my Nashville trip and it’s been on 4 trips since! This faux leather $32 bag comes in black and brown, but I loved the cognac brown color. It goes with everything and has compartments on the outside (one that zips) and inside to hold your little trinkets and lipsticks. It’s the perfect bag to carryon! I usually throw my makeup bag and snacks inside, plus a crossbody (with my wallet).
6. Weekender Bag (Extra Duffel)
This $30 bag has been a true lifesaver! I throw it in my Calpak suitcase JUST in case my bag is over weight, and let me tell you, it’s saved me multiple times! I always shop and end up with more in my bag than when I left home. It’s the most important item I pack, so I don’t have to pay for overweight luggage. One of the best purchases I’ve made.
I’m the queen of bringing my regular iPhone charger and struggling to find a wall to plug into when I travel! Totally useless if you ask me. I finally picked up a portable charger, and it’s been life changing. I no longer stress about losing battery and dimming my screen to save power when I travel.

I purchased my Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote in 2009 and it was $700. I’m sharing the price I paid, because since I bought my bag 10 years ago, the price has virtually doubled! I remember my twin sister telling me I was nuts for buying it, but it’s one of my absolute favorite bags, and I use it almost every single day. I realize these bags are an investment, but to me, it’s worth it.
I’m not saying run out and buy a $1400 luxury bag right now, whatsoever, but what I am saying is if you invest in quality it will last you for years to come like mine has!

I almost never bring my full size wallet on a trip with me! I’m always running around and using a smaller crossbody bag when I go out, and typically I don’t need my everyday cards when I’m away, so a card holder has been my go to wallet for travel. I invested in my $250 card holder years ago, and it’s been a go to for me. I keep it in my everyday purse with my license and everyday credit card, as well.
