What a FUN weekend!! My twin sister (who barely uses Instagram, for those of you who are wondering) got engaged just 2 short months apart from me, and I’m thrilled to finally be celebrating her upcoming nuptials. What better way than a girls bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas???
Day 0: Thursday
I actually arrived on Thursday, so I could spend a little time with my girlfriend who lives in Las Vegas. I’m calling this Day 0 since technically the bachelorette party didn’t start until Friday!
The flight from Phoenix to Las Vegas is so quick and pretty affordable. If you’re looking to grab cheap flights to Vegas, I’ve included a couple of helpful links:
- Expedia Flights to Las Vegas
- Hotwire Flights to Las Vegas – great for last minute deals!
My girlfriend picked me up from the airport around 7pm and we headed to dinner in Summerlin. If you haven’t been to Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar, we had such a great dinner. We ordered a charcuterie board, chicken, pizza, and sweet potato fries.

Day 1: Friday
Kim and I woke up on Friday and headed to True Fusion for a hot yoga class. It was the perfect way to kick start our fun weekend, and was such a great class. Lower impact than my typical HIIT or Spin classes, but really great to stretch my muscles and get my sweat on before the girls arrived.
Check in at the Hotel: Mandalay Bay
Since there was 10 of us, we got a suite and traditional hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.

Lunch at House of Blues
We wanted a quick and easy lunch, so we decided to just get some food at the hotel, and House of Blues was perfect. The food is BBQ (which if you know me, is not my fave), but they also had tacos, and they were delicious. I liked that they had different options for all of us, since we have such different taste in food.
Also, they have a killer happy hour! My drink was $5. I believe that happy hour was 2pm to 5pm.
Dinner at Beer Park
This was the perfect group setting for dinner before going out! If you haven’t been to Beer Park, it’s right next to the Paris Hotel. It overlooks the Bellagio, which is awesome, because you can see the water show with a premium view and no crowds around. It’s also raised up a bit, so you’re not just on the street.
Each table comes with games, so if you want to have a fun experience and play some games while you drink and wait for dinner, this is the place for you!
They have healthy and not-so-healthy food options, which was great, because all of us have very different tastes for food. They also take reservations, so our table was ready right when we arrived!
Attire is casual, but we were dressed up a bit, since we were going out after dinner. Highly recommend this for groups as big as 15!
Apex Social Club
I had never been to Apex, but was thrilled this is where we got bottle service, because the views of the strip are incredible from this club!
It’s located at the Palms Hotel & Casino on the 55th floor, and our table was outside. I realize it was hot, but it was worth it for the views!!
Foundation Room
We also went up to the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. The tables outside have some great views of the strip, but it’s a very narrow exterior. I preferred having a little more space, but absolutely another great club to visit.
Both of the clubs we went to were a little less rowdy, which was perfect for us!
Day 2: Saturday
We woke up Saturday ready to take on a pool day! Honestly, Day 2 was my favorite. Everyone was ready to have fun and relax by the pool before an insanely incredible dinner.
Obviously we couldn’t kick off our day without a boozy brunch! We decided to make it easy and do the brunch buffet at the Mandalay Bay, which was delicious and they had $7 bottomless mimosas with your juice of choice.
The thing about buffet’s in Vegas, is they have every single type of food! If you want breakfast, no problem, Chinese food, consider it done! This made it easy for 10 of us to eat, since we all have different food preferences (even for brunch).
Following brunch, we got a cabana at the Mandalay Bay Beach Club, which was worth every single penny! We had food and drink service, plus a shaded place to hang out and lock up our belongings. They also had a wave pool, multiple swimming pools, and a lazy river (where we spent most of our time). The cabana also came with inner tubes for the lazy river, which was great!

Dinner at Sake Rok
Let me start by saying this was the BEST dinner experience I’ve ever had in my life! I have never had more fun than when I was with my girlfriends at Sake Rok.
Sake Rok is a sushi restaurant (and yes they have non sushi options, which was perfect since not everyone likes sushi in our group), and is known for their wait staff singing and dancing every 20 minutes or so. Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined how much fun I was about to have!
Thunder From Down Under
I’m not going to lie, I’ve never seen a more entertaining show! Ladies… if you want a good laugh and some serious eye candy, you have to see this show! However, be forewarned, this is absolutely an interactive show. If you don’t want to participate, you may not want to go to this one!! All of us, one way or another, were interacting! Personally, I couldn’t get enough, because we had such good laughs.
Expedia has pretty affordable tickets for Thunder From Down Under that you can grab here.
After the show, we hung out and gambled (I actually learned how to play craps, and it’s my new favorite game), and took the tram back to the hotel.
Day 3 Sunday: Breakfast and out!
We had such a fun girls weekend! I’m thrilled we were able to celebrate my twin sister’s upcoming nuptials. Can’t wait to share my next adventure! And stay tuned for updated reports on the Hotel!
