I get it. Shopping online can be tough especially for the holidays! When it comes to gift giving there’s a million options available! Theres a few reasons why I stick to the same retailers during holiday that I’ll dive into in this post. Today I’m sharing 7 ultimate places to shop online for the holidays!
Story Time
Recently my mom saw an ad online for a boutique and placed an order without knowing anything about the shop.
She saw the models, and how cute the clothing was, and thought she would give it a try. Without knowing, my mom was totally scammed! Her order came and nothing was as described or photographed (as it turns out the photos were stolen). Once she realized this she reached out for a refund and return shipping label. Despite contacting the company for a return, and complaining that this wasn’t as described, she was SOL and stuck with all of the items! The company didn’t care. They got her money and ran!
Moral of the story is, no one should go through that! There’s many reasons why I shop particular retailers and specifically refer you to those. That is one reason among many! I care about cost, quality, and reliability when it comes to shopping. Holiday is no different!
When shopping for holiday gifts, I typically budget between $25-$100 depending on the recipient. I splurge a bit more for my husband, but we try to keep the holidays chill and usually don’t spend more than $200 per person (if we even spend that!).
There’s several no fail retailers that I always shop from for gifts, and today I’m sharing the 7 ultimate places to shop online for the holidays!

How I Created This List
Regardless of whether I’m shopping for my home, holiday gifts, or holiday outfits, there’s a few things that are important to me when determining what brands I’ll shop during the holidays.
First and foremost, trust! During the holidays, I want as little stress as possible. The last thing I need to worry about is quality of a product, timing for the items to ship, or an outfit not fitting as expected.
Of the 7 online retailers that I’m mainly shopping for holiday, the only one you have to specifically look at reviews for is Amazon! I’ll dive into details below. These online retailers are extremely trustworthy and brands I’ve shopped for years!
The List
Below are the 7 ultimate places to shop online for the holidays, plus a few holiday items I’ve recently been eyeing.
Nordstrom
Nordstrom has been one of the most, if not the most, reliable retailer that I shop for years! They carry every price point of clothing, shoes, and gifts, and truly have something for everyone! Plus, they stand behind all purchases. If something you buy is defective, they take it back no questions asked! Good customer service goes a long way.
I also love that Nordstrom offers curbside pickup. I fully take advantage of this, and love being able to pick up what I need in a matter of hours! Nordstrom is great for holiday gifts, as well.
Below are a few items I’ve currently got in my cart:
Walmart
What can I say, I’m a sucker for Walmart lately! Walmart prices and quality are second to none! They carry reliable brands like Scoop and Sofia Vergara, that I shop frequently. Walmart also has extremely affordable holiday home decor. Whether you’re shopping for outfits or holiday gifts, they’re second on my list for a reason! We actually do grocery shopping and curbside grocery pickup at Walmart, as well.
Plus, Walmart has free shipping and free returns. They make it super easy for their customers if something needs to go back. I can’t recommend them as a holiday retailer enough!
Here’s my latest holiday outfit purchases:
Sephora
Sephora is my favorite place to shop for beauty products! I buy my foundation, hair products, and skincare mostly from Sephora. They have most brands I use, and their holiday gift bundles are always impressive (and they have every price point you could want!).
Here’s a few pieces I picked up from the Sephora Holiday Savings Event:
Amazon
Amazon is the easiest one stop shop for everything you need in a pinch! I can buy anything from food to clothing and everything in between. The only downfall is how long it can take to find a quality item. I highly recommend searching The Drop for men’s and women’s apparel, and tech deals. Those searches typically result in good quality products.
Etsy
If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while, you know I launched my Etsy shop last month! I always love Etsy, because you can find unique items that are in every single price point. Regardless of whether you shop my items or not, Etsy is the perfect marketplace to shop the holidays. Just be very careful on what the ship dates are! I would highly recommend ordering now from Etsy, to ensure your gifts arrive on time.
You can check out some of my custom mugs and wine bags below. I also created bundles of 4 and 8 that can be completely customized! Makes it so much easier to shop for multiple people at once, while saving 15% to 20%.

Kirklands
I absolutely LOVE Kirklands! Kirkland’s carries the most affordable, cute home items that are always a show stopper. They always have seasonal items, and home gifts that are typically on sale. Their site is almost always 15% off! Below are a few of my favorite holiday picks.
Zappos
Zappos is one of the most reliable places to shop for holiday! I joined their free VIP program to get free overnight shipping. It’s a no brainer! They also often have deals that you can’t find anywhere else. They have amazing gift options, as well. My top picks are below:
