I LOVE fall! The weather is changing after our hot summer, Pumpkin flavored everything is released, and the warm and welcoming fall decor is out!
Let’s talk about decorating for fall. I love to spruce up my home with minimal, affordable decor. Fall “falls” right before Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, which means we have an expensive couple of months coming up, and more holidays to decorate for!
Today I’m sharing how to decorate your house with affordable must have Fall decor options under $50. Whether you want to decorate your kitchen, home office, or the living room, I will give you the ideas, links and pricing – you decide where it goes!

Affordable Must Have Fall Decor You Need
Glass Jar w/ Filler
This is a go-to holiday decor idea for me. I love reusing the glass jar, and changing out the filler. (Hint- this could mean skulls for Halloween, or ornaments for Christmas!)
I picked a Large Hurricane Jar from Crate and Barrel – $19.95. For the pumpkin filler, I went with the Golden Natural Pumpkin Filler from Kirklands – $9.99 each (I would suggest two packs). Not a pumpkin lover? Check out the Orb Bowl Filler, you still get the fall colors, but no pumpkins. This could go anywhere from a kitchen island, to a dining table, coffee table or bar area! You pick!
Fall Wreath
Remember when wreaths were just a Christmas thing?! Times have changed! You can find a wreath for just about any holiday these days. I love decorating with wreaths, and to be honest – most of the time it doesn’t end up on my front door. It could be hung inside on a wall, or used on a mantle. It’s a big piece that can add a lot to a room!
My first choice is the Natural Velvet Mix Wreath from Kirklands – $45. In second place (but still adorable) – the Eucalyptus Heather Mix Burlap Bow Wreath – $40. And…since I love wreaths, a third option: 24” Pumpkin, Gourd & Pinecone from Michaels – $30
Fall Signs
I love big decor that takes up space and makes a statement! This usually means big art/signs, etc. I found this super cute 3 foot Hello Fall sign on Etsy! It’s $49, comes in 3 different sizes and a variety a couple of different sayings (pricing varies). A few ideas of where this could be used: inside/outside the front door, on the kitchen counter resting against a wall, on a mantle, hung on a wall, the options are endless! Looking for something smaller? Check out this Hello Fall option from Amazon, it is $29 and 12×15 inches.
Wheat Floral Arrangement
This Wheat and Raffia Wooden Tray arrangement stuck out to me because it requires zero work- you pull it out of the box, set it wherever you want it to go and you’re done! Nothing to put together or hang. I love the fall coloring and feel like it can get you through thanksgiving! It could go on a kitchen island, window sill, or mantle/decorative shelf. It is $35!
Throw Blanket
Nothing says “fall” like a nice orange-ish/neutral throw blanket! Technically this is decor as it totally adds to your fall vibe (right??), but it’s also useful when you are curled up on the couch. I found an awesome Decorative Throw option from Walmart – I love the coloring and it’s only $25! Looking for a solid color? Check out this Mustard Knit Throw from Etsy – $23.
Garland
Garland is a great go-to for holiday decor because it’s easy, takes up space and makes a great “base” for adding additional pieces to it. My garland usually goes a few different places. Either on the TV console, or mantle (whichever you have) or, it can go down the center of your dining table. It’s really easy to add candles, large decor pieces (think lanterns, pumpkins or signs). I found a great deal on a 6 Ft. Pumpkins/Leaves/Pinecones Garland from Micheals for $15. Want something with a little more to it? Check out the Orange Plaid and Pumpkin Garland – $20.
I hope this helped you find some inspiration for the fall and holidays ahead! Feeling overwhelmed? Pick one thing/area to decorate…I would suggest a kitchen island or dining table! Select a few things and keep it simple.
