December Boxy Charm

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I spent mine digging into my brand new BoxyCharm December box! I signed up for their $21 monthly subscription box and haven’t looked back! Every month I anxiously await my new box. It’s filled with 4 to 5 full size products, which are typically well known brands found at a big box store.

This month’s box was nothing other than what I expected… amazing! It’s full of amazing goodies, and I’m sharing what’s inside now.

This month’s beauty box blew me away! I was hooked up with 5 amazing full sized products.

The December Box

Cosmedix Detox Activated Mask

I’ve used Cosmedix before, and was happy to see a familiar brand inside my December box. This mask is made with charcoal and is meant to deep clean your pores. I look forward to trying it, as I’ve heard great things!

Tarte Shimmering Lip Paint in Strike Gold

If I’m being honest, the Tarte Shimmering Lip Paint was the BEST product in this entire box! I’m a huge Tarte fan. They’re cruelty free, vegan, free of Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium Sulfate and Gluten. I own most of their palettes and am always  impressed with their holiday products.

The Shimmering Lip Paint in Strike Gold did not disappoint! It’s a beautiful sheer glittery gold lip gloss. I’m a huge fan of this for holiday and can see wearing it over a nude lipstick year round.

Pretty Vulger The Powder Room in Matte About It

I’ve been eyeing this brand forever! I first spotted Pretty Vulger when they launched in a big box store, but never actually purchased their products. BoxyCharm allowed me to test out a brand I’ve been eyeing, without having to splurge.

I’m utterly impressed with The Powder Room powder. It’s translucent and perfect for setting my foundation. I’m always looking to try new brands, and BoxyCharm lets me do that without worrying about the price tag!

Bodyography Lip Liner

I’d never heard of this brand before, but instantly was happy to see a lip liner inside my December BoxyChar box. It’s the perfect neutral color, and I can wear it with every lipstick (neutral is great for nudes, pinks and even reds). I looked into the brand and found out they are vegan and cruelty free, as well!

PYT Mini Straightener

I actually lost my mini straightener when we were moving from NYC to AZ, and have not wanted to splurge on one. When I opened my December BoxyCharm box and spotted this bad boy, my eyes lit up!

Mini straighteners are amazing for quick fixes on the go and when you travel! I typically use it on my ends and front pieces. In no way can I style my entire head with one, but they work wonders in a hurry!

This product alone retails for $75! Already I saved by subscribing to BoxyCharm for $21 monthly.
