Hi Everyone! It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, and with that said I know a bunch of you (myself included) will be invited to spend it with friends and family. It’s always a good idea to show up with a gift for the hostess, so what better way to kick off my gift guide series with a Gift Guide For The Hostess?
When I’m a hostess, my favorite gifts are items for my home that I don’t typically buy. I love cute cheese boards, matching knife sets, and anything related to cocktails!
I kept almost all of the items under $100, and if you’re looking to spend a little more you can mix and match these pieces. They make for perfect gifts that go with any home!
The Gifts
1. Cheese Knives $39
Personally I love getting Cheese Knives, especially when they’re super cute! Gold is super in right now, and for the price, they look more expensive than they actually are!
2. Cutting Board $49
If there’s one item I hate buying but always need, it’s a cutting board! They make for fantastic host/hostess gifts and go really nicely with the cheese knives above.
3. Gold Pitcher $59
It’s actually adulting when you pour water or juice out of a pitcher, right?
When I saw this pitcher, and realized it was only $59, it was a no brainer! I’m planning on giving this to one of my friends who is hosing “friendsgiving” this year! We can use it that night, too.
4. Faux Fur Throw $79
In our home, there’s no such thing as too many cozy throws! We are always using them, and they make for the perfect hostess gift. As a rule of thumb, stick with neutrals when gifting home pieces, because they always match everything!
5. Coasters – $47
After about six months, I’m always ready to toss my coasters and replace them. They’re an easy way to decorate a coffee table while providing function. I love getting coasters as gifts!
6. Cozy Blanket $173
This is my splurge gift! Leopard is the hottest print for fall, and this was a top seller during the Nordstrom sale. I highly regret not picking this one up, so I’m recommending this as a best splurge gift for your bestie or family member who is hosting you for the holidays.
7. Cocktail Shaker $39
I’ve never met a cocktail I don’t like! If anything, coming with a cocktail shaker ensures you’re about to have a great night. Throw a bottle of your favorite liquor in with this, and you have the perfect hostess gift!
8. Monogram Candle $24
I’m all about personalization when it comes to gifts! This would be perfect as an add on to a gift bag, or for someone you’re not super close with.
9. Wine Rack $45
All about wine on a holiday! May as well make sure the hostess has a beautiful place to store all of it.
10. Cheese board $29
I actually got this cheese board as a part of a larger wedding gift, and absolutely love it! The size, shape, and quality is perfect, and it feels much more expensive than $29!
