You bet I was at Starbucks on August 24th when they released all of their Pumpkin Spice *things* for the season! As much as I would love to have a PSL or Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew everyday, I wanted to find something that was a bit healthier (and iced! It is still in the 100’s in AZ). I also don’t have a huge sweet tooth, so if you’re like me and want the perfect semi sweet cold brew for fall, this is your drink! Today, I give you my take on the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew (you might want to take notes!)…
Healthy Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks is by far my favorite guilty pleasure! Like I said, I’m not a huge sweets person, I actually typically just drink black coffee with a scoop of basically flavorless Mōdere creamer (HERE). Plus, I hate “wasting” calories on sweet drinks, so I figured out exactly how to order my favorite Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew healthier!
Regularly here are the nutrition facts WITHOUT updating to make it a healthier drink.
By updating the order to be healthier (details below!) sugar grams will drop by 75% plus the calories will decrease.

Here’s exactly how to order a healthier Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew:
Order a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, no vanilla syrup, 1 pump of pumpkin in the cream.
Normally there are 2 pumps of vanilla syrup in the coffee plus 2 pumps of pumpkin in the cream. By cutting down some of the flavored syrups, it drastically decreases the fats, carbs, and sugars. I’m not someone who counts/tracks everything that I eat, but I do like to make healthier decisions when I can!
What pumpkin flavored things are you looking forward to? It’s starting to seem like salted caramel is making its way into being an official fall flavor! Thoughts? I could be into it, but for now I am sticking with my healthy Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

- Substitute nonfat milk from the standard 2 percent! Or opt for dairy-free options (coconut or soy milk)
- Swap out any syrup for sugar-free syrup to save on calories
- Ask for less syrup or fewer pumps to reduce the sweetness and calories in any beverage.
- If your drink has whipped cream, ask for just a little whip or no whip (saves between 80 to 110 calories, depending on the size and type of drink).
- Opt for a Tall rather than a Grande or a Grande rather than a Venti!
